Program Description:
Create lasting bonds with host families, celebrate the holidays and explore Italian culture.. Two months in Italy.
The host families are particularly enthusiastic about this program, because it includes the Christmas holiday celebrations. In fact, the schools are closed from December 24 – January 6. During this time, the students can have the chance to create a special bond with their host family and to visit the host community in a special time of the year. They may even see snow for the first time in their lives! It is important to remember, however, that this is a school program. Intercultura works with the Italian schools in order to obtain the most suitable program of studies for the students with specific requirements, which often results in personalized school schedules and/or school projects.

Embark on a 4-week school program and 2-week break in Adana, Türkiye. Experience warm hospitality, classes, and a trip to Cappadocia.
Your students will arrive directly to Adana where our volunteers and local staff will meet them at the airport. The next day will be the Arrival Orientation held in the city. They will meet their host families on Sunday afternoon, when they come to the orientation venue to pick them up. School starts early on Monday and they will have classes for four full weeks (accept January 1st) since Turkey doesn’t celebrate Christmas. 3rd week of January is usually when the Semester Break for all high schools is scheduled. Pax will be together with their host families enjoying the break together. At the end of the program they will have a short trip and an End Of Stay Camp at Cappadocia (the location might change due to logistics or weather conditions). They will return from Adana airport at the end of the program.

Experience winter and Christmas in France for 2 months, living with a host family and attending the local school. Immerse yourself in the French way of life, share traditions and taste the gastronomy.
The student will share the daily life of his/her host family, will go to a local school and will have many occasions to learn about the local life in host community. There will be a 2-week school break during which student will spend Christmas with their host family and discover the winter local season festivities and traditions. Most probably there will be AFS gatherings at the local level during the program, but can’t be guaranted.
